Baby Finnley "Stats"
Born on the 5th
Via planned turned emergency C-section..
Apparently when you show up for a section you should have a little water in your tank. I was a lot dehydrated and that caused a few problems.. I guess the glass of water and 2 cokes the night before didn't cut it! What?
Everything turned out well thankfully and our little Finn arrived at
7:15 a.m.

183. I don't miss my old neighborhood...Did you hear about that shooting on Brookway Saturday night?? Don't worry that's just like a heavy stones throw from my "old" house. Sheesh. Murders 50 yards down the road don't make me feel warm and snug like a bug in my bed if you know what I mean.
184.This transition hasn't yielded one tear in case you were wondering. Other aspects yield tears. NOT this one.
185. Yes.. I am living in my parents ginormous basement. Its still a little,...okay a lot un-organized. I am working on getting settled.. Not like too settled cause another move will obviously be happening in the near future. Not like super near but not like 10 years away either. GOT IT?
186. I really don't like chicken flavored Ramen Noodles

189. Tonight for dinner I had 4 fruit roll ups, a pre-natal vitamin, a Omega-3 vitamin and a glass of water.
190. Tonight around 10 pm I was looking at the new Costco coupon booklet and I saw a coupon for "fruit by the foot" and all I wanted was some fruit roll-ups.. My charming husband ran right out and got me some. Don't be jealous. Good men are hard to find.
191. I am really picky about diapers.
192. I bought some "huggies" diapers last month at Costco cause there was a coupon on them..and they are the worst ever!!! They make my kid smell like pee.. and they are deceiving when it comes to gaging how wet they really are..Like one pee makes the diaper look all crinkly and gross. AND they have pictures of Mickey and Minnie MOuse! So glad I bought a box of like 3567! He'll be wearing them til the second coming.
193. I hate disney characters.
194. I used fuzzy bunz cloth diapers on Riley til I went back to work. They are so cute!.. But a lot of work. People generally didn't appreciate me dropping my baby off to be babysat with a cloth diaper on.. So I switched back to disposable.
195. My favoriteist diaper is actually the Kirkland brand from Costco. They are soft, wick away moisture well, don't have stupid characters on them, and they have big thick tabs..
196. I have been sick the last two days.. So I gotta go. I'm feeling a little queasy.

158. I hate apple juice..it gives me a headache every time I drink it.
159. I love watermelon...its my most favorite fruit. I can cut one in half and hollow out one side. Surprisingly it doesn't make me sick..
160. My favorite lip stick is Clinique Tender Heart.
161. Yes its true.... We are moving.

...10 reasons I am sad to leave West Valley...

162.There is a Maverick by my house that has this Icee Machine that is like amazing. The Icee is always the perfect consistency. I haven't ever found this type of machine anywhere else.

163. I will miss our ward. We have gotten to know a lot of great people that have taught us many valuable lessons.

164. Our north side neighbors have been so good to us. We couldn't have found better neighbors anywhere. They have been so kind to help us with our yard, and been so sweet to our children...and Misty always has lots of treats around:)

165. The redbox down the street is always full.. Even the night Twilight was released and there were 700,000,000 people in line at walmart trying to get a copy...Christian went to the nearest redbox and rented one of like 10 copies.

166.The cafe rio never has a line... I guess its not popular among Hispanics

167.Remember the dude that's house is directly in front of mine? They put on killer karaoke parties in the winter months. (of course I've never been to one, I just listen in at 2am)

168.We live close to the freeway.

169. Our local Costco is always slow.. I imagine I will make the drive over just to avoid the craziness of all the other Costcos.

170. I don't love the layout of our house, and its been a burden....but I will miss having my own house and all the space.

171. I will miss the all the icecream trucks that make the rounds in our neighborhood every 7 minutes. I've never purchased anything...maybe I will just once before we leave for good.

172. I get tired of driving to the south end of the valley, everything resides over there. My in laws, my parents, target, my best friend, my work....my life basically.

173. My gas bill gonna be goin way down.

Here is WVC the children seem to think its ok to play in the road, ride their bikes in the road, play ball in the road, pick their toenails in the road, walk down the center of the road...they really don't care if a car needs to get by or not. They dart out in the road, I've nearly killed 7 in the Avalon.. If you give a little tap on the horn to try and get them to move they will turn around and tell you to you know what. I won't miss the rude kids...thats for dizang sho.

175. The construction is super bad over here right now...SOOOOO sick of it!

176. I am most likely going to get struck by lighting for this one... But I look forward to having my husband sit with us during sacrament. I like his company and lets face it trying to get two kids to be reverent in sacrament meeting alone ain't no piece of cake.

177. I'm going back to my roots, where its familiar, and I feel safe and sound.

178.There is a lot of crime that goes on in this city.. Every single night the news has some story about something that went down in West Valley.. My neighborhood has been a nice quiet little place to live...But the surrounding area has always scared me a little.

179. Where we go my children will have a safe place to play outside..

135. I really am. Simply cause I can. I fill the birth certificate out...and its my choice.

140. If I could have 3 wishes they would be: 1- A 50th wedding anniversary(with C of course), with all my children present. 2-I would like unwavering faith in the gospel for my family and I. (maybe this takes away agency?) still I would, who wouldn't?? 3- I'll have to think upon this one...Give me time.
141. My faith every now and then briefly wavers. Its sad...but natural at certain times in life I think. I could be wrong. Not sure.
142. I have to unbutton my pants when I sit down. I'm getting to that point where I am the size of a cruise ship..Usually I am the size of a boat, these days its a cruise ship. Got it?
143. I think for that third wish I maybe would just like a rockin, hot, sizzlin, sexy body. I've never had that before.. I'm not saying thats what I wish..but maybe. I still need more time.
144. I really like chinese food. Let me tell you the 2 worst places to get chinese food and why.
#1 There is this place here in WVC on 3200 west and like right off the 201 called "chinese food the great sandwich" (seriously) worst ever! The sweet and sour chicken is like big deep fried balls of dough with get this....NO CHICKEN IN THEM. Then they cover them in "sweet and sour sauce" that is really a concoction of water, gelatin, and red 40 dye. NEVER GO THERE!
#2 Panda Express. For obvious reasons. They use dark nasty, grisly meat. They almost always burn something. I still go there every now and then! Why oh Why???????????????????

147. I check my voicemail maybe once a week, don't leave a message.. I won't get it.
148. I think life it generally tooooo busy. I hate it! There are always a kajillion and 5 things going on and it bugs me. What happened to the good ol' days when people toiled around in the cornfield all day and that was good enough.
149. I'd like to move to St. Charles.
150. I really love and like my kids.
151. It doesn't bother me that they aren't perfect. They aren't perfect kids, and I'm not a perfect mom. Teaching moments come everyday for all of us.
152. I hate when wives treat their husbands like another kid in the family. I try never to do this. I'm sure I do sometimes...Sorry baby! Men shouldn't have to ask for permission to do things they like. It nice to discuss these things....But he doesn't need to ask for permission.. Kapish.
153. I think my worst habit as a wife is I'm not as affectionate as I could and should be. He might tell you differently, but I doubt it. I really do.
154. I hate unloading the dishwasher. Especially the silverware.
155. The weeds in my backyard are currently taller than I am. Sorry neighbors.
156. I would love to have a garden, and a beautiful yard someday when life isn't so crazy. The yard at the house that I'm currently living in is really a embarrassment. I don't care. I just wanna get the h-e outta here. Know what I mean?

Of course we went to St. Charles for the 4th...

The kids played in the water, and got bit by lots of bugs.

We went to the best Chuck wagon breakfast ever in Paris..

We went to the hokey parade and the kids loved it!!!!

The parade is truly hilarious..It goes up one side of the street

and then back down the other.

The "floats" pretty much consist of farmer joes advertising their services.

And if you have a 1992 Mercedes that you think is so super awesome...

Well feel free to enter it in the parade!

Payton chased Kaycee with the ore, even the red bucket was there!!!

Riley walks now, that is the only difference and made for a lot more work..

He felt the need to walk clear far away and visit other people..

Baby boy will be named after a Chevron Car as promised:)
Only problem is they are no longer making this car.... So now I just have to find one!

Whats in a Name?

I don't know what it matters what we name this child....cause I rarely get called by my name.
I never call my husband be his name, if I do then he is in trouble for something;) and vice versa.
I rarely call my children by their given names either.
As for myself .... I answer to the following names:
Jamee Jo (dad calls me this sometimes)
Yamee ( this is my Mexican name..you usually hear it in the combination of Yamee and Yesse)
Jaime ( this is what the cooks at work call me...to them its a boy name cause Jamee for a girl doesn't exist in their language)( and if they did try and say it right it would come out "Yamee")
Jamee Lou (mom sometimes calls me this)
Jam ( which is meant to be endearing, but can't really be spelled cause it should read Jame)
Jamison ( This dude Curtis at my work only refers to me as such???)
Jim ( short name for James, my Mom's old friend Carma used call me this...

James (some people really do call me the male version of Jamee, I don't get it??)

107. Everyday I go to these sites...People, foxnews, yahoomail, thedailyberg, updated blogs, etc. I repeat this pattern a few times throughout the day so I don't miss anything:)

109. I love how Riley eats with his right hand and uses his left to make sure the food actually gets in his mouth, I might have to post a pic so ya'll get the idea. Its cute.
110. I was looking at my file at the my Dr's office when he stepped out of the room, and unbeknownst to be he has me diagnosed with "Generalized Anxiety Disorder" What???? Being a worry wart has a fancy name?!
111. My husband and I were born 11 days apart the same year. He is older. He was born on day 11 and I was born day 22. This eventually made it easier for him to remember my birthday.
112. I never forget birthdays, or other important days. Even for random people. I check my calender and I say today July 1st is Skylar Mundys birthday (I think). Weird I know.
Stacy Moon and Alison Winder are on the 7th, my deceased chumbucket of a grandpa and my mom's friend Sarah are on the the 22nd, and Duane Fluckinger is on the 27th, and my Friends Natalie and Laura...well I think they were married on the same day and I think it was July 31..so happy anniversary ladies. Well I think that covers July.
113. I have a number fetish. Payton's birthday number is a crappy one. I wish I would have waited for a better number.
114. Once on my mission out of desperation for a softer bed, I jumped on it.....and well...the brittle wood burst apart into a million little pieces. I haven't jumped on a bed since.
115. I hate private blogs... cause I am lazy and don't want to actually have to type a password in to see the blog... Dumb I know.
116. I love to fish. Its so soothing, and relaxing.
117. I don't actually want to catch a fish. I really just want to dangle a stick and string in the water.
118. Every night the TV in my bedroom broadcasts the sitcom "Scrubs" for my husbands enjoyment.

Half Baked

Well...My littlest man is officially "half baked". I had a level 2 ultrasound today to check his anatomy and so far so good. He still had his boyish parts for all you who thought he may have turned into a girl;). This little man will join us most likely on November 10 via C-section.
I know...I know what a lot of people are thinking. NO VBAC?? and the answer is a big fat nope. I wanted to try a VBAC for this baby, but my Dr. was VEHEMENTLY opposed to the idea. He is very supportive of VBAC but not a VBA2C, understandably as the risk of ones uterus blowing up is somewhat increased. SOOOO... to all you mamas who had a Cesarean, if you want a VBAC that is something to attempt with your second child, not your third. Unless you find a Dr. who is supportive(good luck as they are few and far between) or your planning a HBAC(home birth after Cesarean).

82. I hate that Christian thinks that everyone needs a short name, I really want to name the baby Chandler, but he says NO cause then the baby would get called "Chand".

83. I H-A-T-E when people call my husband "CHRIS"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His name is Christian and he doesn't need a short name.

84. Riley is currently in a diaper, and Payt in his pajamas. Their hair resembles a tumble weed.

85.As far as I know my mole is not cancerous. It was infected, gross I know.

86.I really like my Mother in laws wheat bread.

94. I wish I was like this lady I know named Heidi, cause her house is always super clean, and her life seems perfect. Its not.. It just looks that way, of course.

95. I married a really thoughtful man who takes care of me.

96.I only ever wanted to marry Christian. It took a lot of pleading to the Lord, but my desire was granted.

97. It still makes me laugh that we actually got married. It would be like wishing you won the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes and then them showing up at your door. That's how I feel.

98. I know the Lord answers prayers...sometimes it takes a lot of asking so He knows your really serious.

99. I unknowingly dated a MARRIED man briefly after I got home from my mission. YIKES! His wife left him for a period shortly there after.

100. I have had the same best friend for like ever. Jesse is her name.

101. I struggle to try new things, make new friends, and meet new people.. I am comfortable with just being comfortable...I will probably never be the girl who has a ward full of friends that she hangs out with.

102. I love when Payton sings Primary songs, he can't carry a tune to save his life, but its so sweet.

103. I love when Riley sings "Book of Mormon Stories" He does the actions and its about the cutest thing ever.

104. Sometimes I feel like a bad mom cause Payt likes to tell knock knock jokes like a kajillion times a day and there so dumb that I can't even muster a fake laugh, and He'll be like "Mom laugh a funny laugh" and most the time I just can't. So then I ask him to tell Riley his jokes and I feel real bad.

105. I love when Riley snorts, or if he thinks he's gonna eat soon( like when we pull into Mcdonald's parking lot) he starts to pretend like he's eating chopping and swallowing.

106. You should all know that Christian edits this blog;) Have you ever seen a little swear and then its gone? Replaced with a word like "anti social" ???? My husbands a good man.
